Weight problems do not have a "season"
Nowadays many people have weight problems: the national consumption study from the year 2008 showed, that in Germany 66 percent of the men and 51 percent of the women between 18 and 80 years are overweight!
Moreover, according to latest researches, the frequency of nutritional adiposity (obesity) in children and juveniles increases faster than in adults. Reasons for that are changed eating behaviour and lack of movement.
Is there a magic formula for the permanent loss of weight?
No, there is not. More and more people realize, that with the common miracle- and crash diets, which are propagated in glossy- and women's magazines, they do not reach the target. Of course, the pounds disappear for a short time.
But the pounds you have lost in a bad mood and with many deprivations are quickly there again, if you eat again "normally" - the famous yo-yo effect.
Who wants to alleviate the psychological strain caused by overweight and really wants to lose weight for the long term, should take a sober "physical inventory" of oneself and the life situation.
Among them are considerations regarding
- weight
- nutrition- and eating habits
- movement and possibilites of movement
- active weight management by medicinal support and/or controlled calorie supply
